Clearance inspections

The inspection process requires once the licensed asbestos removal work has been done to verify whether it is safe to use or not. It is a visual inspection and also may also air monitoring.

What is the clearance certificate?

It will be offered by the licensed asbestos assessor after the disposal work is completed. He will give a certificate by inspecting the surrounding area for visible asbestos contamination.

When does a hazardous material inspection need to be done?

Before disposal work is to take place, site owners need to have a hazardous material inspection at the site to dispose of friable asbestos or asbestos-contaminated dust. Class A asbestos license is needed to handle friable asbestos.

A class B asbestos removal license needs for either

If there is more than 10 square meters of non-friable asbestos or asbestos or asbestos-containing material at the site, A class B asbestos disposal license required to handle asbestos.
