If a preliminary site investigation finds any risk of the site contamination, a detailed site contamination investigation is required to further characterise to extent and level contamination, this known as detailed site investigation or DSI or Phase 2 report. It is a Phase 2 investigation that includes testing the soil, water, and other aspects of the environment. BHM Environmental will provide services in determining the most appropriate scope of DSI. Besides testing soil, BHM works on testing groundwater or surface water as there is a chance of contamination. The detailed site contamination investigation report from BHM will be beneficial to understand level and extent of contamination and how it may affect the proposed development.
