Tadoba Andhari National Park

The Tadoba National Park, also known as the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, is Maharashtra's oldest and largest national park. It is one of India's 47 planned tiger reserves and covers an area of 1,727 square kilometres. It includes the Tadoba National Park, which was established in 1955, and the Andhari Wildlife Sanctuary, which was formed in 1986 and later united with the park in 1995 to form the current reserve. The park is situated in Maharashtra's Chandrapur district, roughly 150 kilometres from Nagpur. The name "Tadoba" is taken from the name of the local tribal people's God "Tadoba" / "Taru," and "Andhari" is derived from the name of the river which runs through the region.

Pench National Park, Madhya Pradesh

Kanha National Park is among the largest National Parks located in Central India. Found in the Maikal range of Satpudas in the Balaghat and Mandla districts of the Madhya Pradesh. Kanha Tiger Park declared as a wildlife sanctuary in 1933. Park divided into two parts. Core zone measuring around 941 square kilometers and Buffer zone measuring approximately 1067 square kilometers. The total area the tiger reserve covers are about 2000 square kilometers.

Kanha Tiger Park was the ancestral land of the Baiga and Gond Tribes. You are also going to find some of the tribes of these kingdoms that still reside in the region. You should also keep in mind that the park closed on Wednesday afternoons and closed during the monsoon season. The peak season at the park is from October to June.

Panna National Park, Madhya Pradesh
