Sakleshpur - Places to visit near Bangalore within 500 kms

Sakleshpur a comparatively undiscovered striking mountain hill station in Karnataka. Sakleshpur situated on Bayaluseeme and Malnad boundary. It is a panoramic sleepy little city in Hassan district in 949 meters over sea level. It's but one of the 18 most varied places full of fauna and flora worldwide. Treks into Manjehalli waterfalls, Jenukallu Gudda, is advocated along with visits to Bisle book woods and Manjarabad fort. Blend it with a trip to Coorg, that's about 50 kilometers away.

A renowned holy town perched on a mountain in the area of Thiruvannamalai. House of the highly famous ashram of this mysterious saint Sri Ramana Maharshi and the famed Arunachala temple. The town has approximately 100 temples having a history dating from 750 AD. Also, See Jawadhu Hills, about 75 Kms out of Tiruvannamalai. The gorgeous mountain is located about 2500 feet above sea level and contains many scenic areas. Also, earn a visit to the historical Gingee fort. Combine a trip to Thiruvannamalai with Pondicherry.

A tiny, silent but historical city south of Pondicherry. The title stems from the term Tharangambadi, meaning'land of the singing waves.' By 1620 to 1845, it is a Danish Colony and, in the 15th century, an increasingly energetic global trading port. The Danish fort is striking, and the churches have well cared for and restored. Along with also the Bungalow on the Beach is a gorgeous setting to enjoy all of it.
