Visit to waterfall lakes dams prohibited collector issues order

Due to the coronavirus outbreak in the Thane district, It is restricted to stop, gather, discuss and organise any events in private and public places. Also, all the lakes, dams, and waterfalls in Thane District have been banned as an immediate precautionary measure as they threaten the general public's health. Collector Rajesh Narvekar issued a unlock notification.
Thane district is a favourite among the massive number of tourist who visits lakes, dams and waterfalls during the rainy season. In addition, the dams, lakes, waterfalls are popular among youth and seen by many weekend tourists. In such places, social distancing is not possible, and there is a risk of covid19 transmission. Also, preventive orders have been issued to ensure tourists' safety and prevent any loss of life.
About the Restrictive Orders
Restrictive orders have been imposed on the following taluka wise places in Thane district using powers conferred under section 144 of the code of criminal procedure 1973 and section 34 of the infectious diseases control act 1897 and disaster management act 2005.
Trekking and Visit to below places in Thane District is Prohibited
Yeoor waterfalls in Thane taluka, all the lakes, Kalwa Mumbra Reti Bunder, all the waterfalls at Mumbra Bypass Gaimukh Reti Bunder, Ghodbunder Reti Bunder, Uttan Sagari Kinara.
Siddhagad Dongarnave, Sonale Ganpati Leni, Harishchandragad, Barvidharan area, Padale Dam, All the waterfalls in Malshej ghat, Palu, Khopwali, Gorakhgad, Singapore Naneghat, Dhasai Dam, Ambateve Murbad are the places in Murbad taluka.
Bhatsa Dam site in Shahpur taluka, Kundan Dahigaon, base of Mahuli fort, Cherwali, Ashok waterfall, Kharod, Aaja Parvat(Dolkhamb), Sapgaon river bank, Kalanve river bank, all the waterfalls at Kasara. Kondeshwar, Dhamanwadi, Tarwadi, Bhoj, Varhade, Dahivali, Malichiwadi are the places in Ambernath taluka.
Kamba Pawshepada, Khadavli river area, Titwala river area, Ganesh ghat Chowpati are the places in Kalyan taluka.
