Esomeprazole + Naproxen is a unique combination of NSAID and esomeprazole with tablet-in-tablet technology which reduces the risk of gastric ulcers and is site specific. This combination contains an outer layer of Esomeprazole (PPI) and has an inner core of Naproxen within it. The outer layer of Esomeprazole reduces the risk of developing Naproxen associated stomach ulcers at the same time Naproxen (NSAID) relieves the pain inflammation. This unique combination with outer layer of Esomeprazole creates a protective layer against gastric ulcers before Naproxen in the inner core reacts with the body.
